Is there a DPA?: Yes, from Pro, under Art. 28 GDPR. Free does not include a DPA and is meant for testing with non-critical documents.
And the commitment under § 203 StGB?: From Pro. Professionals bound by secrecy can sign it online. § 203 StGB is the German professional secrecy law.
Where is our data?: On Demand: in your tenant in Germany. Chat and search run in the EU, while reranking and image generation by external models may run outside the EU. Private Spark: on the device at your site.
Is our data used for training?: No model is trained on your data. In On Demand, external providers do not store requests and answers.
Who can see our content?: Every request checks which workspaces the person may see. Documents, search index and logs are kept separate from other customers.
Which certificates do you hold?: None yet. We have not yet completed an ISO 27001 or C5 audit. In the onboarding project, we show your IT and data protection team how access checks, tenant separation and logging work technically.
How long are we committed?: On Demand is billed monthly. Private Spark has a 24-month term, and for Air-Gap Enterprise we agree the term with you.
How do we pay?: By credit card through Stripe. Business customers can also pay for Private Spark by invoice after talking to sales.

A bill with no tokens on it.

Every user gets a monthly credit allowance that applies to all models, including external ones. A short question to a small model uses little, a long analysis with a large model uses more. Your invoice shows no tokens.

When the credits are used up, you work with what is left until the end of the month, or switch to a larger plan. Additional credits will soon be available to book in your account.

Is Free a trial that expires?

No. Free is a permanent plan for one tenant with one user and 3,000 AI credits per month, with no credit card.

What happens when a second person joins?

Then you book Pro or Max in your account for everyone who works with it. Free cannot be combined with paid plans. Pro and Max can be combined with each other.

Is there a minimum term?

On Demand is billed monthly. Private Spark has a 24-month term, and for Air-Gap Enterprise we agree the term with you.

From which plan is the DPA included?

From Pro. The Free plan is meant for testing with non-sensitive documents and does not include a DPA.

Which models can I use?

Free works with open models. Pro adds larger curated models, and Max all curated models up to the largest.

What if our data must not leave the building?

Then Private Spark is the right deployment option, or Air-Gap Enterprise with no external connection at all.
