LEGAL
Privacy policy
This statement tells you which personal data are processed when you visit this website, and which are not. Last updated: September 2026.
This English page is a convenience translation. The German privacy policy at /datenschutz is the legally binding version.
1. The essentials
This website is an information site only. It uses no analytics or tracking tools, embeds no third-party content and contains no forms that send input to us. Personal data arise in only two cases: as a technical necessity when the site is requested (server logs, section 3) and when you contact us yourself (section 4). A cookie is set only if you change the language with the switcher (section 6).
2. Controller
The controller within the meaning of Art. 4(7) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
clouditiv GmbHRobert-Blum-Str. 25
D-08209 Auerbach/Vogtland
Deutschland
Telefon: (03744) 365 2202
E-Mail: [email protected]
Vertreten durch die Geschäftsführung: Niklas Schult und Klaus Bauer
No data protection officer has been appointed, because the statutory conditions for a duty to appoint one are not met.
3. Visiting the website and server logs
When you request this website, your browser necessarily sends data to the web server that delivers the pages. The following are stored temporarily in server logs: the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time of access, the page requested, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page (referrer, if sent) and the browser type and operating system (user agent).
This processing is required to deliver the website, to keep it technically secure and to analyse faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR). The logs are not combined with other data, are not used to build usage profiles and are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless a security incident requires a longer retention.
4. Contact by email and telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you give us (for example name, email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry) solely to handle and answer your request.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1) sentence 1(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering the requests addressed to us (Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR). We delete these data as soon as they are no longer needed for that purpose and no statutory retention duties — for example under commercial or tax law — stand in the way.
5. Forms that do not send data
The forms shown on this website — the trial-access preview and the non-binding offer summary — do not send any input to us or to third parties. What you type is neither stored nor transmitted; it stays in your browser and is discarded when you close the page. No user account is created. When registration becomes possible at product launch, we will inform you here in advance about the processing that then takes place.
6. Cookies, analytics and third-party embeds
This website sets no cookies for marketing or analytics. No reach-measurement tools, no tracking and no advertising networks are used.
If you change the language with the switcher in the navigation, your browser stores the cookie sv-locale with the value de or en for twelve months. It remembers only that choice, carries no identifier and is not used for analytics. Choosing a language automatically from the language your browser sends (Accept-Language) does not set a cookie. A cookie notice is not required for this technically necessary cookie.
No third-party content is loaded: fonts, graphics and scripts all live on this website's own web server. Visiting the site does not open a connection to third-party servers.
7. Links to external websites
This website contains links to external websites, for example in the imprint. If you follow such a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. Simply viewing our pages does not transfer any data to those providers.
8. Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights with regard to personal data concerning you:
- Access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR),
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- Objection to processing based on Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. A simple message to [email protected] is enough to exercise your rights.
9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). You may turn to the authority of your habitual place of residence or to the authority responsible for us in the Free State of Saxony.
10. Changes to this privacy policy
We will adapt this privacy policy if the processing of data on this website changes — for example when registration becomes possible at product launch. The version published here is the one that applies.
